For term 3 inquiry we didn't have a big question and 3 subsidiary we just had to chose a curant Olympian from country apart from nz or australia and all the athletes where on www. London.com. We had to also find out all the information about them and there country , For example: we had to find out information about the food in that country the athlete is from , Language, athlete profile , How many melds the country got in the London 2012 olympics, differences compered to nz and heaps more. I found this inquiry was easier then the other 2 inquiries but it was really interesting and I would like to do this one more often .
Reading
For reading this term it was basically the same as the other 2 terms but we also did a mini inquiry on the grimm brothers and a fairy tale that we chose then we read it out to the class. but it was fun and interesting to find out about how they started writing books together and how many time they spent
and how much books the achaaly published.
Spelling
For spelling this term we where put into groups high, medium and the risk depending on our score in the gap analise test we did again at the start of the term. When we where in we still carried on doing the attachments on plan book and the risk group went on spelling city. Towards the end of the term we had a spelling bee for year sevens and eights to fun rase the year 8 camp. We got given a sheet of 50 real long words like "lackadaisical and we lernt them at home for about a week and we had to do the spelling bee on the next monday and people who
